PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for advantageously manufacturing a precoated metal plate which is excellent in a photocatalyst function, coated-film adhesion, processability, weatherability, appearance (fine sight) durability and the like. SOLUTION: In a method for forming a discontinuous photocatalyst-content coated film, a clear coated-film is formed by coating at least one surface of the coated metal plate with a clear coating containing a silicon compound as a main component and then by spraying a titanium oxide particulate-containing liquid in a state of dispersion on the surface of the clear coated-film.
