The drum pick-up contains a crosswise frame with brackets attached to it whereon ramps are mounted. Mounted on the shaft are spring fingers rotating in the spacing between the ramps. ^ EFFECT: pick-up has limits that partly overlap the inter-ramp spacing for cleanup of the fingers of the material picked up and exclusion of ingress of stems having been caught by the fingers under the ramps which improves the technological reliability of the process. ^ 2 dwg
