<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly calculate a posture of an input device using a gyrosensor. <P>SOLUTION: The game device acquires data from the input device at least provided with the gyrosensor and an acceleration sensor to calculate the posture of the input device. The game device includes a posture calculating means and a correction means. The posture calculating means calculates a first posture of the input device from an angular velocity the gyrosensor senses. The correction means makes a posture of the input device a second posture when an accelerative direction shown by acceleration data the acceleration sensor senses is vertically downward and so corrects the first posture that the smaller the magnitude of the angular velocity, the closer the first posture comes to the second posture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
