PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate master setting and slave setting with regard to a power supply device structured with a plurality of power supply sections by switching control. SOLUTION: The power supply device includes a plurality of the power supply sections 1-1, 1-2, which input an AC voltage, convert it into a voltage set by the switching control in a converter section after rectification, rectify and smooth the voltage, convert it to a DC voltage, and supply it to a load. Each of the power supply sections 1-1, 1-2 includes a structure to control each of master/slave setting sections 3-1, 3-2 respectively, which sets itself to master by detecting an AC voltage input by turning on each of power supply switches SW1-1, SW1-2 respectively, notifies master setting to the other power supply section via a control line 2 with a master setting signal, and change the power supply section set as master earlier to slave by a notice with the master setting signal from the other power supply section after the master setting, and a converter section of the power supply section set to the slave setting according to a setting reference value of the power supply section set as master.
