<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the voltage value of a detection signal from a sensor part or a detection signal which has passed through a filter by providing a guide means to the surface of a water receiving part or near the sensor part to guide the hand of the user and an object to be washed within the detection area of the sensor part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This faucet device includes a water discharge part and a water receive part for receiving the water discharged from the water discharge part, the sensor part for acquiring the information on the movement of the object to be detected by the reflected wave of emitted radio wave, and a control unit for controlling the state of the water discharged from the water discharge part based on the detection signal output from the sensor part. The guide means guides the object to be detected within the detection area by providing to the surface of the water receiving part for receiving the water discharged from the water discharge part and near the detection area of the sensor part. Consequently, the guide means can maintain, at high level, the voltage value of the amplitude of the detection signal from the sensor part and the voltage value of the amplitude of the detection signal which has passed through the filter for intercepting low-frequencies.
