PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology preventing the aggravation of the detection accuracy and breakage of a device at an early stage. SOLUTION: The device includes: a first magnet 10 disposed in a first rotation axis; a first gear 20 fixed in a housing; a second gear 30 and a third gear 40 engaging with the first gear 20, while revolving around the axis center of a second rotation axis as a rotation center, in association with the rotation of the second rotation axis connected to the first rotation axis; a relative angle detection means fixed on the second rotation axis for detecting the relative angle between the first rotation axis and the second rotation axis, based on the magnetic field generated from the first magnet 10; and a rotation angle detection means for detecting the rotation angle of the second rotation axis, based on the rotation angle of the second gear 30 and the rotation angle of the third gear 40, wherein at least any one of the greatest common factor of the teeth number of the first gear 20 and the teeth number of the second gear 30 and the greatest common factor of the teeth number of the first gear 20 and the teeth number of the third gear 40 is set to 1.
