<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide molecules that inhibit binding of Nogo receptor-1 to its ligand and weaken myelin-mediated growth cone collapse and inhibition of neurite outgrowth. <P>SOLUTION: Immunogenic Nogo receptor-1 polypeptides, Nogo receptor-1 antibodies, antigen-binding fragments thereof, soluble Nogo receptors and fusion proteins thereof, and nucleic acids encoding the same are disclosed.
