<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet binding device simply constructed to give roughness to bunched sheets with a fixed pressing force independently of the thickness of the bunched sheets. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet binding device 100 gives roughness to the bunched sheets S comprising a plurality of sheets in the direction of the thickness to bind the bunched sheets S. It includes a pair of roughening members 1, 2 having rough portions in the direction of the thickness of the bunched sheets S for clamping the bunched sheets S to give the roughness to the bunched sheets S in the direction of the thickness. A level difference 2h between the rough portions 2a, 2b of one roughening member 2 out of the pair of roughening members 1, 2 is greater than the level difference 1h between the rough portions 1a, 1b of the other roughening member 1 for engaging with one roughening member 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
