<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily impart position information to an image (video content) photographed by normal photographing equipment using a cellular phone number. <P>SOLUTION: A system for imparting position information to video content includes a home individual DB (database) 43 in which a face photograph, a name, and a cellular phone number are at least registered in advance, a video input unit 44 which receives video content to which video photography time information is added, a face recognition unit 47 which recognizes the name of a person in the video content based upon face information extracted from the video content, a tag imparting unit 50 which obtains, as tag information of the video content, at least one of place name and facility name candidates for a photography place based upon the video photography time information received by the video input unit and the cellular phone number of the face-recognized person, and a VoD content storage unit 54 which stores the tag information on the place name or facility name candidates for the photography place together with the video content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
