<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of efficiently arranging many contact members by efficiently utilizing an opposing area where a receptacle body part and a plug body part are coupled with each other. <P>SOLUTION: The receptacle body part 10 has outer coupling aperture parts 18, 19 and inner coupling aperture parts 21, 22 opened. Contact parts 32d of outer receptacle contact members are arranged at the outer coupling aperture parts 18, 19, and contact parts 42d of inner receptacle contact members are arranged at the inner connecting aperture parts 21, 22. The plug body part 50 is equipped with outer plug contact members opposed to the outer receptacle contact members, and inner plug contact members opposed to the inner receptacle contact members.
