<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an individual user to obtain an optimal print result when applying created character string information for printing to a printer whose print resolution is different for printing. <P>SOLUTION: When information 400 for printing including character string information 401 for printing created for a first printer 301 is used for a second printer 302 whose print resolution is different, the character string information 401 for printing is converted by referring to a conversion information table 153 in processing by a conversion program 152, and transmitted to a second printer 302. A user starts a conversion information change program 154, and performs designation from a first selection part for designating character size information displayed at a display 204 and a second selection part for designating post-conversion size information.
