<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-on switch with long operational strokes used as an input operation section of various electronic equipment, which hardly has bottom-touching feeling at the time of a pushing operation and can prevent fatigue of fingers of an operator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an elastic drive body 15 wherein an upper projection section 15B and a lower projection section 15C at a vertically opposite position are provided on a central section of a flat plate section 15A, the upper projection section 15B against the lower projection section 15C requires force larger than force required for the lower projection section 15C in order to make the same amount of compression in case of compression in the vertical direction, and the force as a limit of compression of the lower projection section 15C is set up to become force larger than force for elastically turning over a movable contact 4.
