PURPOSE: A cap and a connector unit are provided to force a cap difficultly to come off a connector by suppressing deformation of the cap. CONSTITUTION: A housing(4) is integrally formed of a synthetic resin, and includes a bottom board portion, and a contact-arranging portion(42). The bottom board portion is substantially plate-shaped. The contact-arranging portion is substantially plate-shaped, and is perpendicularly continuous with the bottom board portion. The contact arranging portion has a front surface, which is a surface on the left side of the contact arranging portion, and a rear surface which a surface on the right side of the contact arranging portion both formed with grooves(42a) at equally-spaced intervals. The grooves in the front surface of the contact arranging portion and the grooves in the rear surface of the contact arranging portion are displaced by half a pitch in the direction of arrangement of the grooves.
