<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a communication method capable of adjusting the timing of transmitting signals from a communication device and the timing of executing processing to the signals received in the communication device, and the communication device based on actual operating statues, a server device, and a delay collection device capable of achieving the communication system. <P>SOLUTION: In the communication system, transmission instructions are given from the server device 32 to the communication device 31 and collection instructions are given to other communication devices 31A and 31B. In the communication device 31, a reference signal is transmitted through an array antenna 34 according to the transmission instructions. In the other communication devices 31A and 31B, delay information is collected on the basis of the reference signal transmitted from the communication device 31 according to the collection instructions, and given to the server device 32. In the server device 32, the given delay information is given to the communication device 31.
