784,726. Vaporization of liquefied gases. BRITISH OXYGEN CO., Ltd. May 22, 1956 [July 15, 1955], No. 20570/55. Class 8(2). In vaporizing liquefied gas, e.g., oxygen in a line 2 by heat exchange with a stream of warm air or gas passing through a tube 6, deposition of ice in the tube 6 is prevented by forcing the cooled air or gas by a fan 8 through a heat exchanger 10, and recirculating the so warmed air or gas through the tube 6. The heat exchanger 10 comprises oil burner jets 17 supplied by a pump 19 and an air blower 15. |
