PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type work machine equipped with a pair of right and left bar handles for operation, and an auxiliary bar handle connected over the pair of right and left bar handles, which includes a clutch lever with good operability. SOLUTION: The auxiliary bar handle 12 includes: a handle body 12a along the lateral direction of a machine body; a connection bar part 12b for connecting the handle body 12a to one of the pair of right and left bar handles 11, 11 by bypassing the clutch lever 13 swingable in a machine device longitudinal direction.
