<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter device preventing flow-rate performance from decreasing while a decrease in filtering performance is prevented by preventing a filter element from moving in a diameter direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A body 11 of the filter device 10 includes an inlet port and an outlet port, and an air flow passage communicating both the ports is installed in a housing H. On the air flow passage, a cylindrical filter element 22 is arranged and a louver R granting centrifugal force to the air based on the flow of the air introduced from the inlet port is installed with the upper end surface 22a of the filter element 22 sealed. Four engaging protruding parts 38 engaged on the inner surface of the filter element 22 are installed with intervals in a peripheral direction of the louver R on the second abutting surface 37 facing the upper end surface 22a of the filter element 22 in the louver R.
