PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment for collecting ultrasonic images with higher quality by exchanging ultrasonic waves through the use of appropriate ultrasonic vibrators when determining the ultrasonic vibrators for transmission and the ultrasonic vibrators for reception respectively so as to exchange the ultrasonic waves, and also to provide a control program for the ultrasonic diagnostic equipment. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic equipment includes: an image data collecting means for exchanging the ultrasonic waves with a subject through the use of the ultrasonic vibrators for transmission and the ultrasonic vibrators for reception, so as to collect ultrasonic echo signals from the subject, and generating ultrasonic image data, based on the collected ultrasonic echo signals; and an exchange channel control means for determining the ultrasonic vibrators not to exchange the ultrasonic waves in response to the levels of the ultrasonic wave echo signals.
