A method for the complex treatment of the generalized periodontitis comprises the conventional local and general procedures, namely the removal of the dental calculi, the polishing of the root surface, the instillation of the antiseptics into the periodontal pockets, the application of the periodontal bandages with anti-inflammatory ointments, osteotropic therapy). The complex magnesium-containing drugs are taken. The following drugs may be used as pathogenetic agents: Magvit B6, Magne B6, Magne B6 premium, Magnefar B6, Magnicum, Beresh Magnesium plus B6. In the case of the generalized periodontitis grade 1 (initial stage), one tablet is taken thrice a day for one month. In the case of the generalized periodontitis grade 2-3, two tablets are taken thrice a day for three months. |
