<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition capable of forming a plastic lens having a high refractive index, a polymer, and a plastic lens composed of the polymer. <P>SOLUTION: The polymerizable composition is characterized by including a polymerizable monomer having a functional group, and a metal oxide fine particle having a functional group, where both the functional groups are the same. When the composition is polymerized as a raw material, the metal oxide particles can uniformly be dispersed in the polymer.
