ORAL FILM-FORM BASE AND ORAL FILM-FORM PREPARATION

Disclosed is a film-like base wherein one or more sugars or sugar alcohols are dispersed as microparticles is prepared by dispersing edible polymer, which is soluble in water and organic solvent with solubility parameter of 9.7 or greater, and one or more particles with mean particles size of 0.1-60 µm, which are selected from a group of monosaccharides - hexasaccharides and sugar alcohols thereof that are insoluble in organic solvent in said organic solvent. A drug is then included to prepare a film-like preparation. Provided as a result are an oral film-like base and preparation that have a fast dissolution profile in the mouth and sufficient film strength and have reduced stickiness caused by the water-soluble polymer in the mouth, as well as an improved feel when they are handled by the fingers.
