PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of display failures by reducing variation in temperature of a display section configured of an electrophoretic display panel or the like in which the state of display varies based on temperature. SOLUTION: A display device is provided which has a display section configured of an electrophoretic display panel or the like in which the state of display varies based on the temperature. The display device has a substrate on which a plurality of components constituting the display device are mounted. Of the components, heat generating parts such as a power source part, a CPU, and a memory are arranged at positions that do not overlap with the display surface of the display section on the substrate.
