NOVEL POLYTHIOPHENE DERIVATIVES AND ORGANIC THIN FILM TRANSISTOR USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A polythiophene derivative is provided to reduce band gap energy of polythiopene derivative and to improve channel characteristic of an organic thin film transistor. CONSTITUTION: A polythiophene derivative is denoted by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1 and R2 are independently straight or branched (C1-C40)alkyl or (C3-C40)cycloalkyl; and Ar1 and Ar2 are independently (C6-C40)arylene or (C2-C40)heteroarylene containing a hetero atoms selected from N, O, and S.
