<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately conduct power-supply on/off control for a signal processor of a radio base station device in response to the fluctuation of a traffic volume regarding the radio base station device and a method for controlling power supply to the radio base station device. <P>SOLUTION: The radio base station device includes a plurality of signal processors 6-4 processing signals transmitted to or received from a mobile communication terminal, a call processor 6-2 controlling the allocation of resources to the signal processors 6-4, and a traffic monitor 1-1 monitoring the increase and decrease of the number of occupied resources allocated to the signal processors 6-4 at every fixed period. The radio base station device further includes a power supply controller 1-2 controlling the power supply for the signal processors 6-4 under a power-off state to be turned on state when the number of the occupied resources is increased on the basis of the increase-decrease information of the number of occupied resources notified from the traffic monitor 1-1 and controlling the power supply for the signal processors 6-4 in the preparatory standby state under the power-on state to be turned off when the number of occupied resources is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
