<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a misalignment of a mounting position occurring by the change of the magnification of a lens, even if the working distance of the lens of a camera is changed by a temperature change. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This mounting position correction apparatus performs a pixel rate correction processing in a temperature change or periodically, and calculates the focus position at the time (Step S41), and calculates the difference h between the calculated focus position and the standard focus position (Step S42). Further, the mounting position correction apparatus calculates an amount of a change of magnification for the difference h of the calculated focus position (Step S43), calculates the present magnification of the lens from a standard magnification change coefficient calculated beforehand (Step S44), calculates a present pixel rate from the calculated present magnification of the lens and the pixel size of the camera (Step S45), and renews the stored standard pixel rate to the calculated pixel rate (Step S46).
