PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent washing liquid from infiltrating in an apparatus body by eliminating inward flowing of the washing liquid into an air vent, in a washing apparatus. SOLUTION: The washing apparatus includes a tray for receiving a head portion of an electric shaver, a tank for storing a washing liquid, and a pump for supplying the washing liquid in the tank to the tray in a circulated manner. The tank 7 has the air vent 53 for releasing an airtight state, dispensing of the washing liquid from a dispensing port 51 is controlled by the opening/closing of the air vent 53. Inside the tank 7, there is provided a partition wall 58 as sealing means for preventing the washing liquid from flowing to the air vent 53 side. When the level of the washing liquid inside the tank 7 reaches the partition wall 58, an upper space inside the tank 7 is divided into the air vent 53 side and an inlet port 52 side, so that the washing liquid in a foamed state is prevented from flowing to the air vent 53 side. Consequently, before the level of the washing liquid reaches the air vent 53, the washing liquid can be dispensed from the dispensing port 51, thereby preventing the washing liquid from flowing into the air vent 53.
