PURPOSE: Field coil assembly of an electromagnetic clutch for a compressor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture the connector of field coil assembly and to shield the coupling part between the connecting terminal of the connector and the lead line of a coil through one insert injection. CONSTITUTION: Field coil assembly of an electromagnetic clutch for a compressor comprises a coil, a bobbin(30), and a connector(50). The coil is installed on a core(20), generates suction magnetic flux by power approving and comprises a lead wire(W1) projected onto the leading end of the coil. The bobbin is inserted into the core and surrounds the coil. The connector is arranged in one side of the core and comprises a connection terminal(70) in its inside. A bobbin terminal(40) is installed on the bobbin, covers the lead line of the coil to be electrically connected. If the connector is installed on the core, at least a part of the connection terminal makes contact with the bobbin terminal to be electrically connected.
