<p>A stirring device and a stirring method which are able to quickly and uniformly stir and mix, in the entire range within a stirring vessel, fluids having a wide range of viscosity, from low to high, and fluids having high thixotropic properties. In a stirring device (1), an upper stirring blade (6c) at the lowermost tier is disposed so as to be adjacent to a lower blade (5) in the vertical direction, that, in a plan view, a line lying in a plane and connecting the lower end of the upper stirring blade (6c) at the lowermost tier and the center point of a stirring shaft is disposed so as to have a predetermined angle relative to the center line of the lower blade (5) in the blade diameter direction, and that, in a side view, a horizontal cross-section including the lower end of the upper stirring blade at the lowermost tier is disposed so as to be located below a horizontal cross-section including the upper end of the lower blade (5).</p> |
