<p>The present invention describes a Composition, comprising one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of a) compound (I) which is ethacrynic acid bezafibrate, fenofibrate, and/or griseofulvin, b) compound (II), which is ciclopirox ciclopirox olamine, octopirox, and/or cinnarizine, c) mixtures of compound (I) and compound (II), or pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives thereof for the treatment of cancer. The present invention is further directed to the use of said compounds or a mixture of compounds for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of cancer and to the use of said compound in a method for treating cancers in animals and humans.</p> |
