PRODUCTION METHOD FOR PHENYL ALKYL SUCCINIC ACID AMIDE COMPOUNDS

Disclosed is a novel method for producing phenyl alkyl succinic acid amides that are useful as plant growth promoter. This is a production method for phenyl alkyl succinic acid amide compounds and salts thereof which are represented by general formula (2) (wherein, R1, R2, and n are the same as described below), which is characterized by culturing microbes related to Bacillus thuringiensis or Bacillus cereus that are able to synthesize phenyl alkyl succinic acid amides in a medium containing a phenyl alkyl amine represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R1 and R2 each independently indicates a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, hydroxyl group, alkoxy group, or alkyl group, R3 indicates a hydrogen atom or carboxyl group, and n indicates a number from 0-3).
