<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embossing device capable of quickly and efficiently forming an irregular pattern on a rolled material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This embossing device 10 has the first guide roll 35 and the second guide roll 40 arranged in positions shifted each other along an advancing direction of the rolled material 50 from an embossing roll 20 and a backup roll 30. A diameter of at least one of the embossing roll 20 and the backup roll 30 is larger in a position faced to the width-directional central portion 51a of the rolled material 50 than those in positions faced to width-directional both end parts 51b of the rolled material 50.
