PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping joint of portable working machine, having vibration-damping effect and durability and excellent maintenance. SOLUTION: The vibration damping joint 30 of portable working machine for transmitting the rotation of a crankshaft 15 of an engine 10 to a working machine part is equipped with a drive shaft 23 connected to the crankshaft 15, a transmission shaft 24 connected to the working machine part, a drive shaft joint member 31 connected to the tip side of the drive shaft 23, a transmission shaft joint member 32 connected to the base end side of the transmission shaft 24, a torsion coil spring 33 externally fitted and connected to the tip side of the drive shaft joint member 31 and the base end side of the transmission shaft joint member 32. The vibration damping joint 30 of portable working machine is equipped with pawl parts 31c and 32a to be mutually contacted by rotation of fixed anglesαandβat the tip side of the drive shaft joint member 31 and the base end side of the transmission shaft joint member 32.
