The two-part heat reservoir (1) has an inner container (11) for receiving the hot- or industrial water. The container is surrounded by a cladding (2). The cladding is filled with latent heat storage material for the maximum portion. The cladding surrounds only the upper and optionally the central region of the inner container and the lower one-third is not surrounded by the cladding. The inner container is connected with a solar collector (3) through a heat exchanger. The latent heat storage material is present in a bag which is made of plastic or metal foils.
