PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of safely sharing a disk storage device among a plurality of processors. SOLUTION: When a CPU 9 is driven in a home network server, bus switches 18, 23 are controlled so that an HDD 25 is always connected to an IDE controller 12. In this case, all accesses to the HDD 25 are executed by the CPU 9. A CPU 1 indirectly accesses the HDD 25 through the CPU 9 and the IDE controller 12 by issuing a disk access request to the CPU 9 and the HDD 25. In addition, the CPU 1 can directly access the HDD 25 without passing through the CPU 9 by switching the connection destination of the HDD 25 to an IDE controller 21 by the bus switches 18, 23.
