摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce energy loss in an air-feeding device. SOLUTION: The air-feeding device is constituted as follows. Main nozzles 16 and 16A for weft insertion are connected to air tanks 10 and 10A through air-feeding pipes 17 and 17A for the weft insertion, and electromagnetic opening and closing valves 18 and 18A are provided in the air feeding pipes 17 and 17A for the weft insertion. Assistant pipes 22 and 22A are joined and connected to the air-feeding pipes 17 and 17A between the main nozzles 16 and 16A for the weft insertion and the electromagnetic opening and closing valves 18 and 18A. The main nozzles 16 and 16A for the weft insertion are connected to a blower 24 through the assistant pipes 22 and 22A. Check valves 23 and 23A are provided in the assistant pipes 22 and 22A. An inverter 25 is electrically connected to the blower 24, and a controlling computer C is signally connected to the inverter 25. The inverter 25 carries out the control of the number of revolution of the blower 24 based on the command control of the controlling computer C by using an ac power not shown in the figure as an electric source.
