摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful display apparatus that displays gradation within a target brightness variation even if characteristics vary between the pixels of a display panel. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a memory storing a combination of offset and gain determined by comparing a representative conversion curve showing a brightness-voltage characteristic common to the light-emitting elements of all pixels with an individual brightness-voltage characteristic of the light-emitting element of each pixel; and a data voltage correcting means that reads a combination of the gain and offset of the light-emitting element of each pixel from the memory when performing a display operation, uses the read gain and offset for a representative conversion curve, and corrects a data voltage outputted by the drive element so that the light-emitting element may emit light at a desired brightness. The values of the gains and offsets for substantially all the light-emitting elements stored in the memory are within a range satisfying a specific conditional formula used to determine the limit of a target brightness variation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
