PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable and efficient wind power turbine with regard to a rotor blade used for a horizontal axis wind turbine, the horizontal axis wind turbine, and a method for generating electricity using the horizontal axis wind turbine. SOLUTION: A rotor blade 100 used for a horizontal axis wind turbine is disclosed. The rotor blade 100 comprises a fixing section 107 for fixing the rotor blade 100 to a rotary shaft 105 of a rotor 110 of the horizontal axis wind turbine, and a geometrically adjusted section 101 with a root end 108. The rotor blade 100 extends from the fixing section 107 to the root end 108. A section of the root end 108 of the geometrically adjusted section 101 and a section of a guide panel 102 of a stator 120 of the horizontal axis wind turbine closest to the root end 108 are substantially coplanar.
