<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for preventing a mixture of print sheets and FAX sheets to be output to a sheet delivery opening. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This multi-function machine 100 has at least a printing function and a FAX function. The multi-function machine is provided with a user detecting means 105 for detecting approaching of a user, a voice outputting means 109 for outputting by voice that FAX data is received when the user detecting means 105 detects that the user is approaching during receiving the FAX data, and a printing means 110 for printing the FAX data on the basis of a printing instruction from the user.
