PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for enhancing a recovery rate of healthy living body-derived cells by surely removing collagenase with suppressing damages given to the living body-derived cells. SOLUTION: The cell separation device 1 comprises a housing body 5 for housing a decomposed solution obtained by decomposing a living body tissue A containing living body-derived cells B in the inside with an enzymatic solution containing collagenase D, and an adsorption body 4 for adsorbing collagenase D immobilized in the housing body 5.
