PURPOSE: A light emitting diode including a light reflecting structure and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve straightness of the light by increasing the are of accepting distributed light and increasing the amount of the reflected light. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure(30) comprises a first clad layer(12), an active layer(14), and a second clad layer(16). A light reflection structure(20) is arranged to be distance from at least one side of the light emitting structure. The light reflecting structure comprises a light reflection base structure and a light reflecting layer. The light reflecting layer covers a side of the light reflection base structure. The light reflecting layer expanded to the upper side of the light reflection base structure.
