<p>Disclosed are a search device, search method and program, which can allow for increased search speeds in document sets, even if the search object is a large-scale document set. A search device is used that is equipped with an abstract matrix memory (1), which is created from multiple areas of a matrix that expresses the co-occurrence relationship between a word set and a document set, and which, when data are given expressing a subset of the document set, stores abstract data that makes it possible to calculate word frequencies in each area, an area limit calculator (2), which finds from the input of data expressing subsets the relationships between the data and various areas, references the abstract data in each area, and calculates the upper frequency limit for word subsets for each area, a word frequency calculator (3), which totals the upper frequency limit for each word area and sets the total value as the upper word frequency limit for each word area, and a document frequency reference part (4), which finds the area to be searched from the upper word frequency limit for each word area, and then specifies the set number of words in order from the highest frequency, based on this area.</p> |
