PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optimal transmission function by corresponding to change in a transfer function caused by manufacturing variation of vehicles; change in a drive system, suspension device, or a vehicle body; change in a tire (wear and air pressure change); and deterioration of a tire. SOLUTION: In this vehicle transmission function acquisition apparatus 4, upon stopping of a vehicle determined by a vehicle running state determination means 2, a vehicle transmission function estimation means 3 estimates and outputs a transmission function of the vehicle based on acceleration/deceleration of the vehicle detected by an acceleration/deceleration detection means 1.
