The device has a setting device arranged at a robot arm of a robot and comprising a supply unit for connecting with a stockpile at a rivet. A feeding unit (10) and a setting unit (11) are provided for the rivet, where the supply unit is fixedly attached to the robot. The supply unit has supply hoses with a common connection for a supply hose (14) of the feeding unit. A brake plate and gripping flanges are arranged at an end of the supply hose of the feeding unit for locking discharge of compressed air conveyed to the rivet.
