The switch has a washer (19) engaged with an oval shaped damping or elastic buffer element (18) and entering in collision with a cylindrical movable iron core (4). The damping element is arranged between a cylindrical switch case (1) and a non-magnetic stop element (15). The damping element is received in a concave part (17) formed in the stop element. The damping element has a circular cylindrical column part (20) whose one end surface abuts on the switch case at the level of a diametrically external side of the iron core and another end surface abuts on a bottom surface of the concave part.
