The protection unit (202) has a base (204) comprising sliding units, where the base is traversed by an opening (212) intended to be traversed by sheath or the cable. Two holes are formed on boxes for a passage of a sheath or a cable. Two positioning units are mounted in the holes of the base. The base stops interstice between the sheath/cable of a particular dimension and edges of the holes. A cover plate (206) is connected between the bases by an articulation system (208). The cover plate closes the opening in an obturation position. An independent claim is also included for a box for an electrical apparatus.
