<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate which includes a functional film for reducing interference fringes and a rainbow color produced by optical interference and which is suitable for a functional member or the like used as front faces of various kinds of displays. <P>SOLUTION: The laminate includes a base material and an intermediate film and the functional film which are provided on a surface of the base material in order. When n<SB>0</SB>denotes a refractive index of the base material, d<SB>0</SB>(nm) denotes thickness thereof, n<SB>1</SB>denotes the refractive index of the intermediate film, d<SB>1</SB>(nm) denotes film thickness thereof, n<SB>2</SB>denotes the refractive index of the functional film and d<SB>2</SB>(nm) denotes film thickness thereof, the laminate satisfies relations expressed by inequalities (1), (2). Inequality (1): (n<SB>0</SB>+n<SB>2</SB>)/2-¾n<SB>2</SB>-n<SB>0</SB>¾×0.3<n<SB>1</SB><(n<SB>0</SB>+n<SB>2</SB>)/2+¾n<SB>2</SB>-n<SB>0</SB>¾×0.3.
