PURPOSE: A method and a device for performing a menu in a mobile terminal are provided to point an wanted object through the point unit of the mobile terminal, thereby directly providing a control menu of the object in the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A pointer unit(170) points a specific target in a menu execution recognition mode. A camera unit(140) records the appointed target in the menu execution recognition mode. A control unit(110) recognizes the recorded target in the menu execution recognition mode. The controller set a minimum unit area which centered around a position of a pointer. The control unit determines a type of recognition through an image of the minimum unit area. The control unit controls a display of a menu for controlling the recognized target. |
