PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair which allows a user to move directly from the wheelchair to an object such as a bed or the like or to sit directly on the wheelchair from an object and also allows the user to perform excretion easily while sitting on a seat of the wheelchair. SOLUTION: The wheelchair includes right and left side frames 12 and 13 fixed to a base frame 11, the seat 20 which is arranged between the right and left side frames for a user to sit on and has a through-hole 57 that opens toward a toilet when the user M performs excretion, a backrest section 21 which is arranged between right and left backrest frames 17 and 16 for supporting the back of the user and swings to open and close when the user M moves from the wheelchair 10 to a bed 100, and an open section 80 which is located between the base frame and the right and left side frames and is used to bring an object to a position corresponding to the seat 20.
