<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deceleration device for an air conveyor device for restraining increase of the conveyance speed of a conveyed object. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This deceleration device includes a motor generating rotation force and a rotation body to which the rotation force from the motor is transmitted and disposed adjacent to a conveyance line. The rotation body has an elastic abutment member 46 that can abut on the conveyed object conveyed along the conveyance line. The elastic abutment member 46 abuts on the conveyed object while moving in a direction same as the conveyance direction of the conveyed object conveyed along the conveyance line by rotation of the rotation body 44. When a speed gap between the conveyed object and the elastic abutment member 46 is generated, frictional force is applied to the conveyed object, thus reducing the speed of the conveyed object.
