PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control cable device of an elevator capable of precisely warming only a required portion even in a control cable long in the cable length, for preventing the control cable from interfering with a hoistway wall or a protective wire net by keeping the radius of a suspending loop equally to ordinary temperature time. SOLUTION: This control cable device of the elevator has the control cable suspended in a hoistway by being connected to the hoistway wall and a car and having its suspending part presenting a substantially U shape, a fixed heater arranged in a position opposed to a part suspended along the hoistway wall of the control cable of the hoistway wall of a lower part of the hoistway, and a dynamic characteristic deterioration detecting means for detecting that its dynamic characteristic is deteriorated when a covering of the control cable is hardened, and is constituted so that the fixed heater is operated when detecting that is dynamic characteristic is deteriorated when the covering of the control cable is hardened by the dynamic characteristic deterioration detecting means.
